Whistle & Wolf is your new destination for quirky and stylish womenswear. The design team behind the award winning lingerie brand Playful Promises bring their cheeky but quintessentially British styling to this new collection.

Whether for work or play the range encompasses flirty dresses, ‘made you look’ prints and classic tailored work wear. Whistle and Wolf was started in 2012 by Emma Parker and we caught up with her to ask her some more about the brand.

How did Whistle & Wolf get started?
Originally my interest in design started with lingerie but as I came up with new and innovative designs for our lingerie brand Playful Promises my interest in the more encompassing area of fashion grew and I found myself designing dresses.

Where are you based?
The centre of the universe…. AKA London. I am London born and bred and feel lucky for such an inspiring city to be my home and it is also where we are based. My other favourite cities are Hong Kong and Miami.

Did you always know you would design womenswear?
No, as with most creative journeys if you already know the destination it takes the fun out of the journey.

How would you describe the look of Whistle & Wolf?
Feminine with interesting prints and quirky tailored details with fit and fabric quality all playing a vital part in the finished designs.

What is your favorite piece from the collection?
I love the tailored dresses. They are feminine and dress up and down for work or a night out well.

Who or what is your biggest inspiration?
I originally studied law and was headed in a completely different career direction but my best friend always knew I was far more interested in design. One day she gave me a Victorian Silver thimble as a gift. It inspired me to ditch the safe option and take a few chances.
