Custom-made shoes are a timeless manifestation of beauty, elegance, and perfectionism. They accentuate the individuality and character of their wearer and complement his style of dressing. Each bespoke shoe is the result of a meticulous craftsmanship. The prerequisites: professional know-how, years of experience, and high-quality materials.
Our manufactory was established back in 2005 by Matthias Vickermann and Martin Stoya, both trained shoemakers. In a decade, our once tiny workshop and store grew to a commercial space of 500 m2 externalizing the welcoming and calm ambience of traditional German craftsmanship.
Based in Baden-Baden, Germany, the Vickermann and Stoya manufactory produces predominantly classic models of bespoke shoes with each taking up to 30 hours of pure handwork. Our open-view workshop enables each customer to get an impression of the processes involved in handcrafting welted shoes. Customers also have the chance to visit our workshop premises for a day and take part in the crafting of their own shoes.
We offer a wide range of leather accessories, such as belts, gloves, umbrellas, wallets, document holders, etc. We also provide repair services not only to our custom-made shoe customers but to customers from all over Germany and Europe. Moreover, we organize shoe shine courses offering our guests the opportunity to dive deeply into the world of professional shoe care.
Every single part of our shoes can be customized as long as there no anatomical limitations. We can craft your shoes exactly the way you want them.
