SOFIA CAPRI

An expression of true ‘Made in Italy’, Sofia Capri revives an ancient art whilst remaining true to its values of quality and tradition, using only the finest Italian leathers and materials. Each sandal is handmade by a local family of artisans who have been crafting sandals on the isle of Capri for over three generations.

Following their professional experiences at Christian Dior, Salvatore Ferragamo, and Vivienne Westwood, and inspired by a chance encounter on the island of Capri, Silvana F. Molaro and Rossella E. Frigerio dreamt of bringing to light the historical art of Capri sandal- making in its purest form and to nurture its rich heritage.

Combining their worldly life experiences from Singapore, London, Paris, and Milan, these young entrepreneurs have created Sofia Capri with the aim of encouraging sandal lovers to appreciate true Italian craftsmanship whilst educating the maxim that refined taste, even through time, remains unmistakably priceless.
