The universe of Miguel Marinero offers a version of contemporary fashion in every collection. Forty years of heritage reflect the hard working work concept of the Atelier and the brand, where it has been able to adapt to changing times, predicting the new language positioned within the world of fur, designing versatile collections that pay tribute to a contemporary generation in constant evolution. In each one of his pieces the “merino lamb” is the main character making it an emblematic icon and crowing the brand as the perfect ambassador of this noble material.

Miguel Marinero is a one of a kind experience of sensibility, luxury and sophistication dedicated to a free and unique woman who’s first love is fashion.

Miguel Marinero is the most veteran active designer presenting his collection at MBFWM (Mercedes Benz Fashion Week Madrid). He belongs to a generation where every stitch is an art. He started working as an artistic director creating Atelier collections, accessories and prêt-a-porter in 1974.

His collections have been showed by some of the best models and photographers of his time as Antonio Molina, Javier Vallhonrat, Nacho Pinedo or Mario Testino.

In 1976, he opened for the first time the Casino de Madrid as catwalk to present a collection where was gathered the best of society. His more than 80 collections designed with a very good work and his special taste for refinement, have make him to get the respect in the fashion world.

At the same time and due to his particular signature when presenting his collections, has developed a successful career as stage designer, being contracted as artistic director of fashion show and staged by large firms and national and international designers of the fashion world, high jewelry and perfumes.

In 1983 began to design his own brand, Miguel Marinero opened his Atelier in Madrid.

Loyal for 40 years presenting his collections, which show design, quality and innovation, is considered one of the best designers of his generation. At present, and since seven years, has presented his collections at Mercedes-Benz Fashion Week Madrid. He is a member of ACME- Association of Fashion Designers of Spain and OEEP-Spanish Fur Organization.

Inside his Atelier, together with his team, a step of innovation in the mix of materials is opened, introducing changes of pattern by adding a novel and femininity touch in fur garments with wool, silk and high tech supplies, predicting a new language in the world of fur.
