LUCAS NASCIMENTO

Since graduating from the London College of Fashion in
2008, native Brazilian Lucas Nascimento has honed his
creative energies, designing unique knits with unexpected
silhouettes and a futuristic slant. Fast becoming known for his
exquisite textural knit fabrications, his designs are a
sophisticated, modern take on classic signatures; a master
class in structural form; simple shapes imbued with high-end
luxury.
For Spring/Summer 2014, Lucas Nascimento was
awarded NEWGEN sponsorship by the British Fashion Council
for the fourth consecutive season since his London debut in
2011. With a prestigious international list of stockists including
Dover Street Market, LN-CC, Matches, Space Mue, and Le
Bon Marché, Lucas Nascimento is fast making a name for
himself as a go-to designer for timeless pieces that are so
finely crafted it is almost impossible to believe they are
knitwear.
