Young Madrileño Eduardo Rivera brings a fresh new take to classic mens clothing. His casually stylish collection is characterised by sharp tailoring, 50's inspired blazers, modern cut trousers, colourful detail and practical, comfortable fabrics.
The Spanish designer has been surrounded by fashion throughout his life. His mother’s multi brand women’s fashion store is one of the oldest and well regarded in Madrid. Eduardo learned the fashion business through his experience working first hand in the store and directly with customers, suppliers and across all aspects of the business. In 2005 Eduardo and Elisa Rivera launched a women’s label to meet the preferences of the store’s high-end clientel. Leading the design, production, distribution and sales of the new line, the young designer acquired a knowledge and appreciation of fabrics and smart tailoring.
Before launching his own menswear range, Eduardo Rivera consolidated his experience attending a course at St Martin’s College in London. Across his entire range, Eduardo demonstrates a trademark attention to fine, elegant finishes, such as covered stitching and matching pocket foulards. He works strongly with colour in the details to bring versatility and a youthful energy to his clothes.
Launched in 2008, EDUARDORIVERA menswear was driven by the designer's passion to fill what he perceived as a gap for elegant but fashionable clothing for young, fashion conscious men that was at the same time practical and highly wearable. The brand philosophy of practicality and style is evident throughout his collections in line with the lifestyle of the modern male for whom the clothing is intended.
The label regularly shows at the Tranoi Men’s Fashion Shows in Paris and has quickly established distribution in leading men’s boutiques in Spain, France and Italy. It continues to expand internationally and in 2011 the first EDUARDO RIVERA store was launched in Madrid
