With the singularity of purpose and experience that has come through Charlotte Bialas career as a dressmaker and designer, she has seized the opportunity to create her own label that sets out her unique aesthetic and contextual vision.
« People have always wanted uniqueness in design, » explains Charlotte « This inspired me to offer creativity in form and construction in shape. Exclusivity in using limited edition textiles and prints from around the world »
Charlotte aims to create contemporary and timeless silhouettes that make women feel confident and attractive day-to-evening. Effortless shapes, yet resolutely modern, reflecting true luxury in attention to details and beautiful quality in fabric.
The prints are all rare vintage silks dating from the 1950s of exceptional quality, print technique and origin. Each piece is a numbered limited edition or unique, expertly sourced from antique fairs, auctions, vintage stocks and mills worldwide, while the design is the synthesis of the noblest traditions in dressmaking, from the Greek peplos to the sari and the kimono.
« Clothes should correspond to the movements of the body, and the most beautiful and timeless designs are sometimes the simplest in construction and form yet the most enriched in fabric and print. »
