A wide range of people emjoy wearing Blue Willi's garments for its natural feel and appearance. People for whom it is important to have clothes with a long lasting appeal and knowledge of buying a product made with care and meant to last.
As a brand Blue Willi’s is quite aware of the important blue indigo story told in the collections. However, we are also looking towards the changing fashion trends, allowing fashion colors into the collections as well as the indigo story. These are important changes, bringing Blue Willi’s into the next decade, with beautifully designed collections. Collections with a twist of new fashion colours, but never letting the core of the brand out of sight, the Blue Willi’s indigo colors.
Blue Willi’s uses indigo in the fabric. As one of nature’s own dyes, man has used indigo for more than 4000 years. The universal appeal that indigo has as a living color is based on the ability to fade gradually and naturally with wear. The intense blue color is applied so that it only affects the surface fibers of the cotton, leaving the core of the yarn undyed. A story of excellent yarn qualities and dying processes, not to mention the very fine workmanship and wash effect.
