Urania Gazelli

Urania Gazelli is the creative name chosen by the Greek designer Urania Giourmetaki for her bags label. The name was inspired by her much beloved late grandmother.

With studies in industrial design and a bachelor from Middlesex University of London she has deep understanding of precise, high quality workmanship and aesthetics which is evident in each bag.
After years of working in her father’s side with plexiglass, Urania wanted to leave her own mark in their family business and therefore in industrial and fashion industry worldwide, having him always as role model and making use of the fact "Savoir -Faire".

The brand is based in Athens, Greece and was founded in the spring of 2012.

Her plexiglass handmade clutch bags are made at her family business "Ranol" in Athens where they have a fully equipped factory with a large variety of machines and are specialized for over 25 years in interior design and especially in the field of special constructions using and combining plexiglass, inox and brass.
