The brand was born in 2001: an idea and a project created by the Tonello family, who with 50 years of experience in male tailoring, has been able to shape a line of outerwear for men and women, that are unique thanks to an unmistakable style and the accuracy of tailoring details.
The idea behind the Tonello stylistic concept was – already from the beginning – to reinvent the jacket, enhancing the elegance and modernizing the shapes, an approach that has been considered revolutionary under many aspects in the male tailoring world. At the core of this challenge there was, and there is still, a wide knowledge of outerwear construction and its construction, as well as the belief that you can create a unique and innovative item of clothing, also redesigning its future.

Since its establishment, Tonello – being aware of the value of its background – has succeeded in keeping the original spirit of a handcrafting reality also in an industrial context. The company, still managed by its owners,
has chosen to set its own path while maintaining a small size and focusing on an impeccable production. This is possible thanks to the support of a staff of 80 professionals divided among production, commercial and a creative team, made up of young and emerging Italian and foreign designers.
