idea
stulle is an idea that was developed in 2004, inspired by the countless construction sites that exist in berlin. the stulle, which means sandwich in german, is as essential for a construction worker as a wallet is essential to anyone. over the years, every person becomes emotionally attached to a favorite piece and carries it close to them. stulle is the expression of berlin’s everyday culture and lifestyle. the definition of stulle is the expression of the idea.

stulle creates a connection to the product. products can be customized to create a unique piece. a stulle becomes a distinctive trademark itself, expressing its owners individuality. each stulle is unique and tailored to each customer’s taste.

all products of the label stulle are handmade and produced in berlin and in the EU, calculated on fair wages and with fair work conditions.

each article has its own colorful and unique design which is a product of precise and lengthy crafting. this makes our products exclusive and distinctive.


the designer
sabine spanheimer has worked in different design agencies in berlin since 1999. in 2005 she founded the label stulle. her design is colorful, alive and illustrative – it wins you over with its playful manner.
