FAGUO is a French young, fashion and responsible brand founded in 2009.
Frederic and Nicolas, 22 years old, were both interested in fashion & business-shop. 5 years ago, they decided during their university exchange semester in China to create a responsible sneakers brand, FAGUO. The name, FAGUO, means "France" or more precisely "Country of Law and Manners" in Chinese.
They also had the idea to compensate the carbon emission due to the shoes production. For that, FAGUO’s concept is simple: we plant a tree for each pair of shoes & accessory sold.
Working with 200M2 of headquarters with an amazing showroom in Paris, 12 employees including 2 designers, the brand evolves in a casual and trendy style and is dedicated to urban people who like fashion, simplicity and action. Thanks to the quick development of the brand, a children shoes line and an accessory one were created respectively, 3 and 2 years ago.
The brand is now available across 220 selected stores in France such as Colette, Printemps de l’Homme, Galeries Lafayette, as well as many others! Abroad, FAGUO continues its development with 23 countries including leading retailers such as Atelier Akeed in Berlin, Henrik Vibskov in New York City, Fav-I in Seoul, Isetan in Tokyo, I.T in Hong Kong, Robinsons and small in Singapore, Camelia in Tapei. From now on, as we are completely mature, our sales development priority is to be really implanted in Asia, the future place of new tendencies in the world.
