Performance Meets Elegance in the new womenswear brand CALLENS, born from the entrepreneurial intuition and lifestyle philosophy of Claire-Anne Stroll.
An active mother, global traveler and tireless sportswoman, her intuition that there was a gap in the luxury market inspired her to come up with a unique project, entirely focused on high quality everyday leisurewear, where freedom of movement doesn’t mean compromise on chicness and sensuality.
As a passionate and skilled golfer, she believes that the sport allows her to reach a special state of mind - of concentration, mental clarity and inner balance - and was inspired to create a collection that would transform this concept into style. Clothes that are flexible and elegant enough to accompany the wearer at all times, whatever situation modern life takes her to: from sports to travel, from business to leisure, from city life to faraway escapes.
Drawing her insight from traditional activewear, she enrolled the help of Creative Director Paul Helbers to bring to life a refined and relaxed wardrobe, combining American sportiveness with European heritage.
The result is an all day long range which allows contemporary women to reconcile their busy lives with a unique haute de gamme spirit.
The collection represents the dynamic lifestyle of a multitasking, confident and stylish woman of
the world who is constantly on the go, moving effortlessly from “7am” pursuits to “7pm”
rendezvous. From overseas trips to time with friends, from the green to lunch, from East to West, CALLENS envisages a protagonist who looks impeccable at all times.
Distinguished by an essence of Loose Luxury - where mindfulness and spiritual wellbeing play a pivotal role - CALLENS conveys a sophisticated yet easy-cool blend of aesthetics and functionality, completely made in Italy and enhanced by the mix of technical and natural fabrics, couture-like yet body conscious constructions, and exclusive details meticulously studied to emphasize comfort and femininity.
After an initial “zero” collection, influenced by the history of famous women in athletics - from Mary Queen of Scots to Katharine Hepburn - the project is now ready to debut as part of the official calendar of Fashion Week in Milan, the city which also houses the company’s international headquarters.
