BONNE MAISON SOCKS
After 20 years of shared experience in product development and brand image, Béatrice de Crécy and Jean-Gabriel Huez decided to create Bonne Maison in 2012 with:
LE BON FIL (THE RIGHT YARN) We have selected high quality Egyptian cotton spun in Italy. Our socks are double thread knitted for an optimal strength.
LES BONNES COULEURS (THE RIGHT COLORS) Our color scales are drawn up with care for each collection. The yarn dyeing is done especially for Bonne Maison.
LES BONS MOTIFS (THE RIGHT PATTERNS) Our fine gauge allows us to bring a high accuracy and refinement to the different patterns. Socks are presented in arrangements of 12, patterns and colours relating little stories.
LE BON SAVOIR FAIRE (THE RIGHT KNOW HOW) Thank to the ‘savoir-faire’ of one particular French manufacter, whose business we have supported and invested in by providing sock-knitting machines, we have been able to develop high quality socks and keep production in France.
Bonne Maison sock are sold 18 euros, public price.
Estampes
This Japan inspired theme stands out with its light and delicate patterns. Knits vibrate with “Ikat” effects, pastel shades enhanced with black and white provide subtle graphics, and mimosa yellow brings a little bit of sunshine. Polka dots and stripes, butterflies on rustling leaves, camouflage Ikat where colours gently clash.
Marie-Antoinette
Gilded frames, silk brocades, floral damasks, delicate gossamer laces, beautiful rich hues on pastel backgrounds; Ornament at its best. Enjoy the refinement and the incredible riches of the 18th century French decorative arts, on your feet.
Tropiques
The care free living of dandies in the 40s, as they strolled in their light linen suits along palm lined boulevards. Languid afternoons sipping iced tea in plumped up rattan armchairs with sun bleached stripy cushions. In the distance, why not gaze at flamingos migrated from Florida, on sky and bright blue backgrounds, contrasted with light burgundy, ochre and a touch of bronze.
