Black Eyewear is the bold creation of optician and life-long jazz fan, Robert Roope who designed the collection to combine his passion for jazz with his lifetime of experience framing faces to create eyewear styles of the 1950s; each model is designed to create resonance and harmony with our face structure.
Robert Roope was chosen to be one of the 14 Selfridges Bright Old Things 2015, which included an Oxford Street window to showcase the Black Eyewear collection and arrange collaborations with Nicomeda Talevera for London Collections: Men 2015 and celebrated photographer Todd Selby.
