Goldschmiede & Juweliere seit 1964
Biegel is an exclusive family business, which is now run by the second generation of goldsmiths. In our work we combine profound knowledge and experience in the creation of fine jewellery with cutting - edge design
and materials of only the highest quality. Our team uses its well known expertise not only to manufacture bespoke jewellery for individual clients all over the globe, but also to develop and produce ‘ready - to - wear‘ collections. The Biegel collections are available solely from the most exquisite galleries and jewellers. In 2003 Marc-Jens Biegel has launched the innovative Bodysign Collection in co-operation with the most prominent
european product designers and exceeded all expectations of design and jewellery experts. The collection has been showcased in the most renowned museums of applied art in Europe.“There is no question that Marc- Jens Biegel‘s approach has provided an important contribution in the shaping of a contemporary, intelligent discussion in the discipline of artistic jewellery, which today is also strongly influenced by conditions,
prospects and particular traits of industrial design.“ Prof. Dr. Volker Fischer, Museum of Applied Arts, Frankfurt am Main, Germany
Those who adorn themselves make a statement of optimism and joie de vivre. And wearing Biegel jewellery means even more: Setting a sign of individual distinction and lifting oneself above the turmoil of everyday life in a self-assured way. Our current collection offers mature solutions, which express the personality of connoisseurs of excellent design. The daring fusion of the material’s tactileness and the minimalistic design gesture generates new viewpoints in this highly traditional product field. We have created simple yet precious jewellery series, the restrained design of which stands for long-lasting aesthetic quality. ‘‘Taken as whole, these pieces breathe the spirit of refined restraint… and thus unite luxury and asceticism. Exclusivity is
not merely defined in terms of gold value and carat figures, but also in terms of conceptual intelligence. Marc- Jens Biegel characterizes his collection as ‘precious simplicity’. Meaning beauty that stems from simplicity – a simplicity that is not simplistic, but allows itself the luxury of reflection.”
