Être Cécile leaves behind the chaos of LA style T-shirt brands and introduces a sophisticated staple to any designer wardrobe, which provides its wearers with the comfort and confidence of their favourite T-shirts and sweatshirts.
The brands heritage is based around ‘Cecile', grandmother to one of the founders. Cecile was an Irish born artist, living in 1960’s Paris, with a love of animal prints and a creative flair for fashion.
Cecile was founded by four individuals from the fashion world whose dream was to create a unique T-shirt collective inspired by French style and clean aesthetics. These four individuals would like their identity to remain anonymous allowing the focus to be on the quality and integrity of the collection. The brand is produced in Europe with showroom rooms in Paris, New York and the designer’s home of London, where the brand was conceived.
During its first collection, highly acclaimed stores, such as Liberty London and Colette Paris, picked up the Cecile collective. The brand is also popular among key industry figure such as Christina Centenera (Australian Vogue), Yasmin Sewell (Yasmin Sewell Co.) and Laura Brown (Harpers Bazar USA) to name but a few.
