tom & hawk

tom & hawk is a young label, that was founded by the sisters annette and susanne wirz in august 2011.

susanne has been in the knitwear business for 5 years. in her profession as designer and product manager she got in contact with many italian knitwear manufacturers. In cooperation with them she developed the first samples for the collection tom & hawk.

Her sister annette was working in retail many years and realized during that time how hard it was to find exciting collections for young men.

inspired by ethnical designs and old patterns from the 80ies a young collection full of favourite pieces was created. in old archives susanne found patterns made on the cms machine, a knitting machine that is able to make almost every design. a technique that got lost during the last few years while most suppliers were making only plain sweaters.

the second tom & hawk collection is now available in stores . it includes sweaters, cardigans, trousers, shirts and t-shirts. almost every article is made in italy and of course produced under fair conditions. all articles are offered from size xs to xxl.
